Advanced Lighting & Sound had a great MAB show 2013 in Lansing. We partnered with the Michigan Broadcasters Association to Stream elements of the conference live from the show floor as well as create content that can be used on the MAB web site. Advanced had a 10 'x 30' with over two thirds of it set up as a virtual studio.
Thanks to help from many of our manufactures such as Newtek, Mirror Image, Prime Time Lighting Systems, JVC and Elation we were able to incorporate and exhibit many products in the booth that complemented the production process. The live stream was a first for the MAB at this event and provided a unique experience for attendees.
The booth was setup around a Tricaster 8000 that was showcasing virtual sets and social media functions throughout the day. An additional Tricaster 455 was used just to create the live stream and capture recorded content for use by the MAB at a later date. Advanced's Nic Auger was responsible for the booths technical layout and for creating all the graphics and set modification used for the day.
